Swiper1: Additional Payments

Additional payments and additional surcharges may be added to Swiper1 transactions.

Additional Payments
 
Additional payments may be added to the final basket. Default selections will appear as buttons that may be clicked to add a payment to the total processing amount. For example, you may wish to offer patrons the option of making an additional payment, tips, etc. to your organization. Within the settings the amounts may be fixed or a percentage of total basket. In percent mode amounts may also be set to round to the nearest value.

Description of Fields:
 

Step 1: By enabling it, it will allow entering into the Additional Payment.


Step 2: Enter the name of the Additional Payment.


Step 3: Enter the desired default additional amount.


Step 4: If Step 3 is ignored, then select any Default Selections given below. These are in $.


Step 5: By enabling it, the Default Selection will be converted into % of Item Cost instead of $.
 
 
Step 6: This option will come only when Step 5 is enabled. By enabling it, the default amount given in % will be round figured.


Step 7: After entering the details, click on “Save Changes” button. It will save the changes which were made here.

Additional Surcharge
 
A surcharge may be added to the subtotal prior to processing. To add additional surcharges set "Additional surcharge" button to ON position.
 
Options available in "Additional surcharge" are:
 

Step 1: By enabling it, it will allow entering into the Additional Surcharge.


Step 2: Enter the fixed amount ($).


Step 3: Enter the Rate (%). It will take the % in the Unit Price.
 
 
Step 4: After entering the details, click on “Save Changes” button. It will save the changes which were made here.

Additional surcharge = Rate (%) + Fixed ($). You may choose one Rate (%) or Fixed ($) or both.
