Donor Management with Salesforce: C&P Settings - Notifications for Temporary Contact Creation

When a transaction with a unique name and email is made, then that contact will store in the Temporary Contact. Under C&P Settings > Notifications, you can set the system up to send a notice or create a task when a Temporary Contact has been created. Created task can assign to Salesforce User / Salesforce Contact in your instance / Email with a proper message, status, priority level, and remainder.

Notifications may also assign to a Temporary Account. Temporary Account option is available only when ‘Double The Donation’ is Authorized under C&P Settings > Third Party.

NOTE: If notifications are activated they are sent when the match mode settings is set to Semi-Automatic mode which is located under C&P Settings > Contacts & Accounts. Contacts will not store in Temporary Contacts when the match mode settings is set to Fully-Automatic mode.
