Resend a Receipt

There may be occasions when you need to reprint or resend an automatically generated email receipt. For instance, if a donor contacts your organization saying they lost or deleted their receipt.

With Click & Pledge you have 2 options for resending a receipt, either use the Portal or Connect. With Connect you will need to be a system-wide administrator to be able to login to the Connect Platform


Option 1: Send a Receipt using Portal


With the Send Receipt feature you can resend a receipt at any time to your patron. Use the Search Transaction fields to find the receipt by entering your search criteria into one or more of the following fields: Amount, Email, First Name and Last Name, Last 4 digits (Credit Card), and Order Number. Be sure to enter your search beginning date in the ‘From Date’ field.

Step by Step Instructions:
To resend or print the receipt follow the instructions below:
 
  1. Click on “Account Info” top right corner
  2. Click on “Reports” tab
  3. Under “Reports” tab Click on “Send Receipt”
  4. Enter search criteria in one or more of the of the given fields
  5. Enter search "From Date"
  6. Click on “Submit”
  7. At the bottom of the page, transactions matching your search will appear. Select an Order Number of the transaction you wish to view, resend or print. This will take you to the Transaction Detail screen
  8. From the Transaction Detail screen, you may email out the receipt or download a PDF. If sending to multiple email addresses separate the emails with only a semicolon.

Option 2: Send a Receipt using Connect


The receipt for an existing transaction may be sent to the patron using the existing or a new email address.

Step-by-Step
  1. Login to Connect's administrative portal (https://Connect.ClickandPledge.com - click on Organization Login)
  2. Click on Transactions (Left-hand side menu bar)
  3. Search for the transaction using the Search box on the right-hand side above the table (note that views are limited to 90 days)
  4. Click on the Order Number associated with the transaction
  5. Click on the "Send Receipt"
  6. Add the email address in the "Email Address" field. To send the email to multiple addresses separate each address with semicolon
  7. Click on Send Receipt
