Payments made through any checkout page, including the mobile payment pages, may be set up to trigger an automatic message to be posted to the organization's Twitter account. The message may be set with wildcard texts for the patron's first name and the amount of donation / payment. Twitter posts provide an easy way for patrons to become aware of the fundraising efforts of the organization.
To enable Twitter Auto-Post follow the steps listed below:
- Enable Twitter post through the 3rd Party section of the Account Info section.
- Account Info > 3rd Party tab > Twitter
- Either create or update an existing mobile payment page and enable Twitter Auto Post by checking the enable checkbox.
Once enabled the message set in Step 1 will post automatically to the Twitter account. A similar account will also post to the Click & Pledge account as well regarding the donation. See the message stream at: http://twitter.com/#!/clicknpledgenow
