Donor Management with Salesforce: C&P Settings - Analytics

Step 1: Click on Analytics in C&P Settings.

Step 2: Enable the patron rank so that automatic calculation will starts on 3:00 a.m daily based upon the opportunity SKU Condition. If Patron Rank is disabled, then the current data storage for C&P Patron Rank will be deleted.

Eg: - If 10MB storage data is occupied by the C&P Patron Value then by disabling the patron rank in Analytics tab, the 10MB data will be deleted. By this, the 10MB free space will be added to the Data Storage.

To view the storage information for C&P Patron Rank, go to Setup > Data Management > Storage Usage > Current Data Storage Usage > C&P Patron Rank.

Step 3: Click on Click to Update for manual update. By clicking it, statistics are now being updated will be displayed. After the completion, you will be notified by an email.

NOTE: For 100K contacts, approximately 2 hours will be taken for the update.

Step 4: Select the Opportunity SKU Condition from the drop-down menu and give the SKU. It will help the Analytics to calculate the contacts which are bound to the condition.

Step 5: Rank Weights gives the ranking of the contributor and the network. The ranking is based on the total amount and the number of counts (installments) in which the total amount will be reached.

Personal Contributions:
The contribution of a person will be considered in this section.
Eg: - Mr. A donated $1200 in 12 installments.

Raised Contributions:
The contributions raised by the person will be considered in this section.
Eg: - Mr. A encouraged Mr. B. So Mr. B donated $600 in 10 installments. Mr. A becomes the fundraiser and Mr. B is a donor.

Network Contributions:
The contributions of donors will be considered in this section.                                                                
Eg: - Mr. A is a fundraiser & Mr. B is a donor. The combination of fundraiser & donors becomes a network.

Raised Contributions:
The contributions raised by the influenced donors will be considered in this section.
Eg: - Mr. B encouraged Mr. C. So Mr. C donated $1000 in 5 installments. Here Mr. B is the influenced donor who encouraged Mr. C.

Step 6: After giving all the details, click on Update Settings to save the changes.
